Adding & Linking Topics in a Gomo course Follow
Adding topics into a Gomo course
You can add a topic to a Gomo course by selecting Actions > Add new topic in the Course Structure screen
Once you create a new topic it will appear below the main course structure. We refer to this as an orphaned topic as it is not currently linked to the rest of the course
Linking standard topics to each other
a. Navigation and Tracking settings
Scenario: Link Content Topic 1 to orphaned NEW TOPIC using screen Configure settings
Open Content Topic 1, select the last screen in the topic & select Navigation and Tracking > Configure
Select the NEW TOPIC option from the action dropdown list. Select Apply then save the change in the Editor
Refresh your web browser in the Course Structure screen. NEW TOPIC will then be linked to Content Topic 1
b. Linking using buttons
Scenario: Link Content Topic 1 to orphaned NEW TOPIC using a standard Button asset
Open Content Topic 1 and select the last screen in the topic
To add a new Button to the screen select ASSETS > Presentation > Button and drag the asset onto the screen. Left-click on the new Button to bring up the properties field. You can then rename the Button label & add an Action
Set the action to link to the new topic & save the change in the Editor

Refresh your web browser in the Course Structure screen. NEW TOPIC will then be linked to Content Topic 1
