• Create variable with the following settings

• In the Assessment topic > Assessment Results screen: Add two buttons to the screen 'RETAKE ASSESSMENT' & 'REVIEW COURSE'

• Add 2 actions to the RETAKE ASSESSMENT button 
  • Link to screen > linking to the 1st screen in the assessment topic
  • Set variable > update the SHOW RETAKE COURSE variable to be Y

• Add 2 display conditions to the RETAKE ASSESSMENT button 
  • Topic score of the Assesment topic = whichever value constitutes a fail
  • User variable > SHOW RETAKE COURSE = N

• Add 1 action to the REVIEW COURSE button
  • Link to screen > link to the 1st content screen you want the learner to review after they've failed the assessment twice

• Add 2 display conditions to the REVIEW COURSE button 
  • User variable > SHOW RETAKE COURSE = N
  • Topic score of the Assessment topic = whichever value constitutes a fail

1st quiz attempt - The learner takes & fails the quiz. Only RETAKE ASSESSMENT button appears due to SHOW RETAKE COURSE variable = N. Learner selects RETAKE ASSESSMENT button. This takes them to the beginning of the assessment and updates the SHOW RETAKE COURSE variable = Y

2nd quiz attempt - The learner takes & fails the quiz again. As the SHOW RETAKE COURSE variable = Y the RETAKE ASSESSMENT button is no longer visible but the REVIEW COURSE button is. The Learner selects the REVIEW COURSE button and is taken back to the start of the course to review the content before taking the assessment again
