Content banks
We are thrilled to announce that content banking has now been added to gomo authoring. This new feature will allow you to present learners with randomized questions from a bank of questions within your course. A full tutorial and supporting information will be added to our support site very shortly. Using content banks within a course is exceptionally easy. You can add a bank (or banks) by clicking on the action drop down on the project details within your project. Once added, simply add your questions per screen by editing the bank. Then, to add your bank into your quiz/assessment topic, simply use the new 'Add content bank' option from the add screen section in the content editor and then choose your configuration options.

Navigation display conditions
We have now added in display conditions for next and previous buttons allowing you to restrict progression through a course until a screen has been interacted with or a variable has been set. For example, ensuring the learner has answered a question or watched a video before they can proceed to the next screen. -
Addition of play audio action to graphical button asset
We have now added the play audio action to the graphical button asset. -
SVG support for themes
We have now added in SVG support for themes. Going forward, new themes will start using SVG icons with fallback to PNG (for IE8).

New theme - Origin
We have added a new core theme called 'Origin' to the core themes available in gomo authoring. -
User % progress reporting update
We have updated the % progress reporting in gomo hosting to take account of the highest progress value rather than the last value set. -
Failed course indicators in gomo central
We have added in a new indicator to denote when a course is complete but the user has failed an assessment.

Update to Select from List and Graphical Multiple Choice screen templates
We have fixed an issue with the screen templates available in the gomo editor where the Select from List and Graphical Multiple Choice templates were not correctly linking through to feedback sub-screens that are generated when the screen type is created. -
Unassigned tasks
We fixed an issue whereby tasks created by a gomo authoring user disappeared if the original creators user account is removed.

Comic strip sub-screen error
We have fixed an issue with the comic strip asset which was generating an error on preview when the basic content output type was used. -
Latest Safari (iOS and Mac) column alignment issue
The latest version of Safari (on MacOS and iOS) appears to changed the way in which the browser handled our layout component in the Twitter Bootstrap framework. We have now updated our themes to address this.

Save optimisation in editor
We have implemented a new save process when saving content changes in the gomo editor. The new save process allows you to continue editing your topic content whilst a save is in process.

iOS - continuous scroll improvements
We have implemented a number of improvements to the scrolling experinece on iOS devices when a topic is presented using continuous scroll mode. -
Full screen videos when running in continuous scroll mode
We have fixed an issue where by videos would not display in full screen mode when launched from a topic running in continuous scroll mode.

We have fixed an issue where in some circumstances users were unable to scroll on tablet and smartphone screens after a subscreen is closed -
Intuition app fixes
We have fixed a couple of issues to do with exiting and tracking gomo content delivered via Intuition's content delivery app.

Content column alignment
We have added a new feature into theme settings which will allow you to align all content columns in a content row so they equal the same height as the largest column. This will allow you to present columns with a uniform look if desired. -
Table of contents speed enhancements
We have implemented a number of speed enhancements when saving changes to the table of contents extra. -
'Please select' text on drop down on graphic asset translation
The 'Please select' text on the drop down on graphic asset is now translatable via XLIFF import / export.

Deleting hotspot error
We have fixed an issue where in some circumstance, deleting a hotspot from a hotspot asset generated an error in the content editor. -
Visited state on hotspot asset on smartphone
We have fixed an issue where visited states for the hotspot asset were not shown on smartphone devices.

Text input validation alert translation
We have added XLIFF support for the translation of the text input validation alert shown when the learner does not input any text but clicks on the submit button. -
Full screen video support for Flash fall back method
We have added support for full screen video scaling when the video is played using the Flash fall back method. -
Static image relabelled
We have relabelled the 'Static image' asset, so it is now just labelled 'Image' in the editor. -
Video in resources section
We have fixed an issue which was causing the course to reload when videos were added to resource screens in a course. -
Assessment screen template
We have updated the default text used in the assessment results screen template.

Incorrect project titles when a course is duplicated
We have addressed an issue where the topic title for a duplicated course was not updating after it had been duplicated. -
Resource folder A-Z ordering
We have updated the folder listing for resources so they now display alphabetically. -
iFrame Captivate playback
We have enhanced our iFrame asset to prevent captivate content launched via iFrame exits correctly when the learner navigates away from the screen that contains the embedded content. -
Audio asset play bar in a sub-screen does not size correctly when accessed on a Windows Phone
We have enhanced the audio asset play bar so it displays correctly in a sub-screen when accessed on a Windows Phone device. -
Resources scrolling updated for desktop browsers
We have updated the scrolling logic for the resources extra so that it scrolls correctly when content overruns the available screen height on desktop browsers.

Download publish backups restricted to last one
To maximise the amount of storage available within a gomo authoring account, we have updated the download publish process to only retain a backup of the latest publish. -
gomo authoring screen shot server optimisation (part 2)
Continuing on from the previous optimisations to our thumbnail screen shot functionality, we have optimised this further so that if multiple saves are made to a topic whilst an existing screenshot request for that topic is still in the queue, it will no longer add an additional queue item. -
Filmstrip asset on a sub-screen with display conditions
We have addressed an issue where by adding a display condition to a filmstrip asset on a sub-screen caused an error when viewing published content. -
% column width support for help screens
We have added in support for % column widths for help screens. Content creators can now adjust the column widths for help screens as they can with standard topic screens. -
Project duplication creating two copies
We have addressed an issue where the project duplication functionality was incorrectly creating two duplicate copies of a course.

gomo authoring screen shot server optimisation (part 1)
We have implemented a performance optimisation to the thumbnail screenshot capability in gomo authoring so that when a topic is edited, the screenshot server will now only take screenshots for the topic being edited. -
Display conditions not resetting the screen height on smartphone/tablet devices
We have addressed an issue where if a display condition was used to show content, the height of the screen area was not adjusted when the content is then shown causing a problem with scrolling to the bottom of the screen on smartphone and table devices.

Gomo hosting LMS Wrapper update for IE8 and IE9
We have addressed an issue with courses delivered via gomo hosting using the LMS wrapper would not display the launch page in some scenarios when accessed via IE8 and IE9 -
Reporting fix for gomo hosting analtyics
Following the optimisations to the reporting functionality in gomo hosting (see version 3.3 release) we have implemented a fix where by some user profile reports were not launching.

We have resolved an issue where translated auto-screen titles were not showing in accessibility mode when an end user switches language in a course -
Update to launch count totals in gomo hosting
We have updated the launch count total query in gomo hosting so that it also counts resumptions to a course in addition to the first initial launch. -
Sub-screen to sub-screen link
We have re-implemented the functionality for users to link one sub-screen to another using actions.

Course completion indicators in gomo central
For content deployed using gomo central, we have now added in completion indicators so that learners can see whether they have previous completed the content they have access to. -
Optimised CSV export process
We have enhanced and optimised the query and CSV generation in gomo hosting to improve the speed in which CSV export reports are generated. -
Group mapping caching in IE11
We have addressed an issue with the group management functionality in gomo hosting when using Internet Explorer 11 which was resulted in updates to groups not being visible due to caching. -
Major speed enhancements to gomo hosting dashboard reporting
We have implemented a major enhancement to the dashboard reporting interface in gomo hosting resulting in a significant reduction in the time taken to load and process data for the dashboard reports. -

Windows Phone support
We have implemented updates to the gomo authoring tool so that content created in gomo now runs on Windows Phone 8.1 and Windows Phone 10. -
Continuous Scroll updates
We have made further enhancements to the continuous scroll capability in gomo authoring to support background videos in the scrollable screens and also improve accessibility support. -
Flmstrip subscreens not working in a sub-screen when multi-language course translations are applied
We have addressed an issue where in some circumstances, the filmstrip content translations in a multi-language course would not be visible when the user switched language if the filmstrip appeared in a sub-screen. -
Special character encoding for topic titles
We have resolved an issue where topic titles that contained special characters were getting double encoded. This resulted in the titles displaying incorrectly in the published course when the auto-topic title feature is used. -
IE8 playback issue
We have addressed an issue where some content would not display in IE8. -
Zoomable image asset on Smartphone
We have addressed an issue where the zoomable image asset was showing additional text content when viewed on a smartphone.

Topic import
gomo authoring users now have the ability to import a content topic from one project into another. -
Multi-language support in a single course
gomo authoring users now have the ability to configure courses created in gomo to support multiple languages within a single course. Translation can be achieved through the gomo content editor or via XLIFF translation export and import. -
Language select
Content authors can now also create language select screens using button actions to set the desired language of a course.

We have updated the size of images supported as background images for the gomo central login page and portal page. -

When a learner logs in to gomo central, they will now be able to see a completion indicator on the courses/content they have completed -
Password complexity rules for logins to gomo central
For enhanced security we have now implemented password complexity rules for users logging into to gomo central. -
Gomo central email addresses containing apostrophe's not tracking
We have fixed an issue whereby user email addresses containing apostrophe's were not tracking xAPI statements. -
Speed enhancements to gomo hosting portal reporting
We have implemented numerous enhancements to improve the speed and performance of reporting in the gomo hosting portal.

Sub-screen resize fix
In some themes, if a sub-screen was in view, re-sizing the browser window down to smartphone size would cause the sub-screen to become unresponsive. -
Video playback using display conditions fix
When two video's were added to a screen but shown using display conditions it would cause the video player to load incorrectly when one of the videos were shown. -

Continuous scrolling (Beta)*
We have now added in the option to display content screens as a continuous vertical stream of screens as opposed to them being paginated. At present screen level background videos are not currently compatible with continuous scroll mode. We will be adding support for this in a future release.

The assessment result labels for High pass mark, Basic mark and Failed pass mark have been updated for clarity and consistency -
Duplicating courses with images, video or audio named using asset IDs no longer replaces the resource file names
When duplicating a course, if images, videos or audio used the asset ID as their file name, this would cause them to be renamed when the course is duplicated.
